To be honest with you, I'm not looking forward for the holiday season. Seeing and hearing my friends talk about how their family is coming together to do this and that makes me sad and makes me envy them..
I envy them because they get to spend the holidays with their family. The laugh, the joys, the smiles, the bonds and the memories. It makes me sad because that USE to be my family, with all that good stuff.
My family is not longer a "family" anymore. My parents are on the verge of divorce, so what is there to celebrate? The fact that there's a possibility that my family could break up and that my siblings could be separated from one other? Yeah no thanks, I rather not celebrate that.
